Seona Couture: Our Story Begins
Seona Cares

A Fashion Visionary Bridging Two Worlds

Bharat Srivastav did not arrive at fashion through a design school — he arrived at it through boardrooms. Before founding Seona Couture, he built a global corporate career as Global Executive VP for Partnerships & Alliances and M&A Strategic Programs at Xebia Group, with earlier leadership roles at Coforge, HCL Technologies, FCS Software Solutions, and Colwell & Salmon Communications. In 2021, he stood at what he describes as the crossroads of two worlds — India's centuries-old textile heritage and the fast-evolving demands of modern fashion — and chose to build something at that intersection.

That dual grounding is what shapes Seona Couture today: the operational discipline of a global executive applied to the craft discipline of a master-tailor-led atelier. It is a combination few founders in India's bespoke fashion and garment manufacturing space bring to the table, and it is why Seona Couture reads less like a boutique and more like an ecosystem — bridal and luxury couture, corporate uniforms, private-label manufacturing, and custom apparel, all under one roof in Greater Noida West.

Breaking Barriers for Startups & Independent Fashion Entrepreneurs

Bharat built Seona Couture's Third-Party Garment Manufacturing & Private Label Division specifically to solve a problem he saw repeatedly: talented designers and D2C fashion founders unable to find manufacturing partners who understood garment craftsmanship, and priced out by factories that demand large minimum order quantities.

"The fashion industry is shifting toward quality over quantity. With our expansion, we aren't just sewing garments; we are providing the technical 'soul' for new brands. We are bringing the precision of the bespoke fitting room to the industrial production floor."

The division's low-MOQ runs — starting from just 50 pieces — combined with tech-pack and AI-assisted digital prototyping and full-package production, are built to let a first-time founder test a collection without the capital a traditional factory relationship would demand. It is manufacturing access designed for people just starting out, not just established labels.

Global Experience, Applied Locally

Bharat's years leading international partnerships and M&A strategy at a global technology firm gave him firsthand exposure to how cross-border business actually gets done — the standards, documentation, and relationship-building that international buyers expect. That experience now underwrites Seona Couture's Global Exports arm, which serves fashion brands and boutiques across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and North America with export-ready manufacturing and trade-agreement-aware market entry.

A Personal Commitment to Children & Community

Alongside the business, Bharat has built social purpose directly into how Seona Couture operates. The Seona Cares initiative directs a share of revenue from every couture piece, uniform, and manufactured garment toward child education and hunger relief across the Iteda region of Greater Noida West — to date, 500+ student kits distributed and 10,000+ meals provided. For Bharat, it is not a side initiative bolted onto the business; it is framed as part of the same promise the brand makes to its customers — "quality, conscience, and care."

Bringing the Industry Together

Bharat's stated vision for Seona Couture is less a single boutique and more a connective house — bringing master artisans, independent fashion entrepreneurs, corporate and institutional buyers, and international brands into one manufacturing ecosystem, rather than leaving each to navigate the industry's fragmented supply chain alone. Internally, he has also spoken about keeping Seona Couture's own team structure flat and collaborative, describing it as a place where "hierarchies are flat, ideas are welcome from every role, and decisions get made fast."
